| We are a 501c3 non-profit organization.
We all are volunteers. Our foster homes are our own homes that we
open to homeless dogs and cats, puppies and kittens, providing them with
shelter, food, medical care and love.
We rely on the adoption fees, donations, fundraisers, grants, the generousity of the community supporters like yourself and organizations like the Krewe Des Chienes and PetsMart Charities. While we whole heartedly support the objectives of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, we do not receive funding from them either directly or indirectly. We are not in any way affliated with the National Humane Society either, therefore, we do not receive funding from them either. On this page, you will find several

Our adoption fees cover the following costs:
However, we do encounter unexpected medical expenses such as needing veterinary treatment for injuried or sick animals. Donations can be designated for our Emergency Fund for these unexpected expenses, including heartworm treatment for several dogs in our foster care network. While the animals are under our foster care, these are the supplies we use on a routine basis: Cat food (canned and dry) Cat litter Advantage, Frontline, etc (flea preventative) Heartgard (heartworm prevenative for dogs) Pet carriers Toys for both dogs & cats We accept actual donations of these items as well as monetary donations. | Become an Guardian Angel for one of our Special Needs Pets. Many of the animals that we rescue have medical problems due to abuse or neglect inflicted by their previous owners. We are committed to saving those animals that are expected to make a full recovery and that are otherwise adoptable. Some of our animals have health issues that necessitate special care or special medications. Your sponsorship insures that we can care for these special needs pets until they are recovered or until we find suitable placement for them. |

Your purchase of Tupperware goes to the funds that we use to cover veterinary expenses and feeding of the homeless animals in our care. You can create and/or host your own fundraiserfor us. It can be anything from a garage sale, bake sale, lemonade stand sales, car washes, raffles, ebay auctions - the only limit is your imagination. Let us know what you plan, and we will help spread the word as much as we can!
