Woofs N' Whiskers

Our heartfelt thanks go to Woofs N’ Whiskers – not only for agreeing to hold our raffle drawing at their site on May 29th -  but also for their generous help with fostering and boarding many of our dogs and puppies until they are adopted.
Located  at 102 Toledo Drive, Lafayette, Louisiana, (just past the post office) Woofs N’ Whiskers offers professional grooming, boarding, and doggie day care services at very reasonable prices.

Their groomers are nationally certified by the National Dog Groomers Association of America.  We applaud their commitment to the highest standards for the well being of the dogs and cats in their care and strongly encourage everyone to visit them!  Their phone number is (337) - 233 - WOOF.

Guardian Angel 
Needed
for Gloria
 Gloria was found in  the country side as a 4 week old kitten. She was very dehydrated and more dead than alive. A good Samaritan brought her to the  emergency clinic where miraculously she survived after some vigorous fluid and antibiotic  therapy.  The next day she went to her new foster home.

Gloria was doing very well until she got pneumonia and needed a special breathing treatment.  Not long afterwards, she had another bout with the pneumonia which this time the treatment did not alleviate her breathing problems.  Treatments to this date have not proved successful. 
Gloria is at the point where the only course left is to find a veterinary specialist who might be able to diagnose the cause of Gloria’s breathing problems and hopefully provide more specific treatment. With puppy and kitten season in full swing, we are severely limited in our financial resources and cannot afford to take Gloria to a specialist.
We don't want to lose her because she is a beautiful 1 year old cat, one of our most affectionate and playful fosters.  We’d really like to give her every fighting chance to get well and find her forever home.
