| Napoleon is a purebred silver-white
Persian with green eyes, about 4 years old, already neutered, and already
declawed
on all four feet. Napoleon's history is not quite clear - he
was given to us in June of 2006 by somebody who "found" him but could or
would not take care of him.
When he was taken into our foster
home network, he was very skinny and his fur was heavily matted.
Fortunately, he tested negative for FIV and FeLV. A through bath and grooming
and clipping of the worst of the mats helped him look better, but Napoleon
turned out to have a very bad gum infection that needed medical treatment.
The gum infection has cleared, and Napoleon is eating better and has put
on some weight, but because of his previous malnourished condition,
he has been suspectible to upper respiratory infections and unfortunately
now has an ulcer on his eye that needs even more medical treatment.
We are continuing to treat Napoleon for his bad eye, it will take some
time for that to heal, and we are hopeful that somewhere out there is a
kind hearted cat lover who would either adopt him and give him the special
care and attention a Persian cat needs, or be his guardian angel and insure
his continued medical care.
