Jasmine
| If you have a minute, I’d like
to share my story with you- My name is Jasmine and I am only a year old.
Several months ago I ended up at the pound and every day people would pass
me by, then one day it was me that was going home. I was so happy! Over
that weekend I had two precious babies, then the people decided they did
not want us. So they took us back to the pound, at least this time I had
my babies to care for and keep me company. As we waited I was very scared,
I now had my babies to think about as well. When I heard that someone
was taking me and my two babies I was very relieved. They even let me raise
three more babies, who’s mother could not care for them. I was REALLY busy!
But I was more than happy to do this! There was a time I got really sick
and they had to force feed me and give me fluids, they really cared for
me and I pulled through and am feeling so much better now. I’m sure you
noticed my limp, well, that happened a while back, my leg was broken and
no one would help me so it healed just like it was. As you can tell my
life has NOT been easy. I’m still so scared to trust, but I REALLY want
to! REALLY! I dream of being part of a quiet household, no small children
or dogs, where I can snuggle while watching a movie and share a soft pillow
at night. I’m looking for a “FOREVER HOME” I REALLY want someplace that
I can belong forever! >^.^< |
UPDATE: Jasmine was adopted before
the Labor Day Weekend !
This is an excerpt from the email we recieved
from Jasmine's new family a few days later:
"Barbara,
Good morning, I tried calling you back several times
but I guess we kept missing each other. I am really excited to tell you
that Jasmine is doing very well. Jasmine has brought a lot of joy to my
family. My kids absolutely love her and help me take care of her. She has
adjusted very easily and I love petting and brushing her every night. Please
do not worry she is in very good hands, and I plan to keep spoiling her.
In fact, Pookie (John's kitten) and Jasmine are fully equipped with all
the latest fashion and treats.
Both Jasmine and Pookie are a blessing and we really
are very lucky to have them!"
